The Shaking

Heb 12:26
6 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, "YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN."

NASU

I believe we are now in a time and season of God's shaking. Those who are sensitive to His works in the church world and in the secular world will see His Hand at work. I believe He is shaking two things in particular. Illegitimate authority and unfaithful stewardship.

 Ps 75:6-7
For exaltation comes neither from the east
Nor from the west nor from the south.
7 But God is the Judge:
He puts down one,
And exalts another.

NKJV

God allows kings and rulers to ascend into authority. He can remove them at will.

Isa 22:16-21
16 What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
17 Behold, the Lord will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
18 He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.
19 And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
21 And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

KJV

God requires faithfulness of ministers. He grants them stewardship in matters concerning His church. He requires an accounting of that stewardship. We will see a new shaking in the worlds of secular and church government. In fact, it began in 2007.

Heb 12:27-29
27 This expression, "Yet once more," denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;
29 for our God is a consuming fire.
